Terms of Service

The terms for using Remove Music From Video: your account, credits and payments, the content you process, what we do not promise about copyright, and refunds.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Remove Music From Video ("we", "us"), the operator of Remove Music From Video at removemusicfromvideo.com (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Remove Music From Video is an online service delivered through your browser that separates the voices in a video's soundtrack from everything else, so you can keep the voices without the background music. It uses an AI audio separation model. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use the service. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us right away at support@removemusicfromvideo.com if someone else uses your account. One person per account: don't create several accounts to collect extra free credits.

Credits

  • Removing music uses one credit per started minute of video; the page shows the cost before you start. If a job fails or is blocked by our content checks, no credits are used or they are returned.
  • Plans add their credits once a month; yearly plans add them monthly over the year. Plan credits expire at the end of the month they were added for.
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases. Their credits expire 12 months after purchase.
  • Free credits for new accounts are limited each day, go to one account per person and network, and expire 30 days after they are added. Throwaway email addresses don't receive them.
  • When you have credits from several sources, the ones that expire first are used first. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money.
  • When a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits it added are taken back.

Plans and payments

  • Plans and prices are listed on our pricing page: each plan's price, whether it is billed monthly or yearly, and what it includes. Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
  • Automatic renewal. A plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize the charge for each period to your payment method.
  • Credit packs are one-time charges, authorized at checkout.
  • Upgrades start right away at the full price of the new plan, and a new billing period starts that day. Yearly plans can't be changed until the year ends; to move to a smaller plan, cancel and subscribe again when your period ends.
  • Who sells your order. Checkout is handled by Waffo (Waffo.com Limited), our online reseller and merchant of record. It is the seller of record for your purchase, collects any sales tax, and also handles order-related inquiries and returns. The charge on your statement shows its name or ours.
  • Your card details are entered on the checkout page of Waffo (Waffo.com Limited). We never see or store your full card number.

Cancellation

You can cancel a plan at any time in your account: open Billing and choose Manage. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for: you keep your plan and its credits until then, and you are not charged again. Credit packs you bought separately are not affected.

Refunds

If something went wrong with a charge, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after you canceled, tell us at support@removemusicfromvideo.com within 14 days and we will refund it. Because your credits and plan are ready to use as soon as you pay, we can't offer refunds when you simply change your mind, except where the law gives you that right. You can cancel a plan at any time so that it doesn't renew. When a payment is refunded, what it paid for ends: the plan stops, and the credits the payment added are taken back.

Billing problems

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us at support@removemusicfromvideo.com before disputing it with your bank. We reply within 2 business days and correct confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

Acceptable use

Use the service only for lawful purposes. Don't:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
  • harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone;
  • create or share content that sexualizes minors, or violent, hateful or illegal content;
  • try to get around our limits or content checks, gain unauthorized access, or disrupt the service;
  • use the service through scripts or automated tools, or resell access to it, without our written permission.

Your videos and the results

  • Only process videos you own or have permission to edit, including permission from the people who appear or speak in them.
  • Removing music from a video does not give you any rights to that video, its music or anything left in it, and it does not mean a platform will accept or stop claiming it. Each platform decides its own copyright claims.
  • The separation keeps voices and removes everything else, including sound effects and background noise. How clean the result is depends on the original recording; very loud music, music mixed at the level of speech, or heavy reverb can leave traces.
  • We check a few still frames from each video automatically and refuse videos that appear to break these terms, without charging credits.
  • You keep the rights you have in what you upload. You give us permission to store and process your audio and frames only to run the service for you. They are deleted automatically after 24 hours.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if the law requires it. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in your account settings.

No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will always be available or error-free, or that every result will match what you had in mind.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful, we will update the date above and tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, except where the law of your country gives you rights that can't be waived. Before any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.
